Just a final shout-out. These are the last few days to work on your project and submit it to the Sentiment & Opinion Mining Natural Language API Hackathon.

Final checklist:

Two weeks to go – submit early!

There are now less than two weeks left to enter your submission to the Sentiment & Opinion Mining Natural Language API Hackathon.  Submissions are due by 5 PM ET on June 22, 2021.

NL API Behavioral & Emotional traits now support emojis!

After receiving a question/request from one of our Hackathon participants, our behavioral and Emotional traits categorizers now fully support UTF-8, including most common emojis.  Our engine is now able to derive emotional and behavioral qualities from emojis in your text.

Expanded Usage Limits for the NL API

We are happy to announce that we are lifting the usage cap on the free tier of the NL API to give you more freedom to develop, build and test your applications.

The NL API’s free usage tier includes up to 10 million characters per month. For the duration of the hackathon, you will have access to up to 10 million characters per day.

This expanded level of access will be assigned by email address, so please use the same email address to register for the hackathon and the NL API on developer.expert.ai.
